Liu Jinsheng

Personal Profile

Liu Jingsheng, dharma name: Long'an, style name: Jingjie. Born into a scholarly and artistic family. From a young age, he has been deeply interested in calligraphy. In April 1989, he joined the army in the 84875 unit of Lixi County, Gansu Province. Wearing military uniform, he never stopped writing. He visited many masters. In July 1990, Qi Gong, the then president of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, gave Liu Jingsheng systematic one-on-one calligraphy instruction. In September 1991, he was recommended by Qi Gong to join the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
