Tang Zhiqiang, a native of Beijing, is a contemporary Chinese painter. He graduated from the School of Arts, Renmin University of China, and currently serves as a painter and researcher at the China Painting Academy. He is also a member of the Board of the Artists Association of the Central State Organs, Honorary Chairman of the China Section of the World Artists Association, a painter at the Beijing Jianzang Painting Academy, and an Executive Member of the Chinese Yanhuang Artists' Federation. Tang Zhiqiang's artistic style mainly focuses on the study and creation of realistic ink figure paintings, influenced by the styles of masters such as Xu Beihong, Huang Zou, and Shi Guoliang. Based on actual situations, he has learned, imitated ancient works, absorbed modern elements, observed and practiced, combining modern ink techniques to create a series of vivid, lively, touching figure paintings. His paintings mainly focus on ethnic minorities, soldiers, and the general public in areas such as Xinjiang and Tibet, and he also paints flowers and birds, especially good at painting grapes. His colorful grape paintings feature lush vines, abundant fruits, plump and round grapes, transparent and glossy, with a combination of freehand and meticulous styles, very delicate. Especially the highlights on the grapes are very accurate, and the color combinations are very reasonable, which has won the favor, praise, and commendation of many collectors.
