Shi Yunfang, pen name Moyuan, style name Moya Zhai Zhu, Huarong Ju Shi, is an outstanding student of the first session of the Chinese Calligraphers Association's calligraphy training class. He is currently the director of the Beijing Guoyi Famous Artists and Calligraphers Academy, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Couplets Association, a member of the China Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, an academician of the Chinese National Painting and Calligraphy Academy, the honorary chairman of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, and a national first-class art master. He has studied and created calligraphy and painting for decades, drawing from ancient traditions and innovating, learning diligently and broadening his knowledge, thus inheriting the way of calligraphy. His calligraphy works have new ideas within the rules, and subtle principles beyond the boldness, possessing both the traditional calligraphy art "combined with literature and brushwork" cultivation and the modern calligraphy art "keeping pace with the times" era atmosphere, demonstrating his unique personality. Some of his works have been selected for auction, and are collected by many art galleries, institutions, collectors, and calligraphy enthusiasts at home and abroad. The Central Digital Television Calligraphy and Painting Channel, Beiguang Media Mobile Television, "China Artist", "Shenzhou" magazine, and other directors and journalists have conducted interviews and reports on him successively.
Shi Yunfang is enthusiastic about social public welfare undertakings, often participates in cultural exchange activities organized by government agencies, enterprises, institutions, and civilian art groups at home and abroad, and donates works for poverty alleviation, disaster relief, national celebrations, and the Hope Project.
