Ren Bin, Chairman of Qiumingzhai Art Museum, Director of Huashi Art Gallery. Member of Jinghua Seal Engraving Society.Born in May 1959 at the foot of the Imperial City in Beijing, he once studied in a calligraphy class led by the renowned calligrapher Jia Chengjune, and received praise. Encouraged by Mr. Jia Chengjune, he began his artistic journey in Chinese painting and calligraphy.He has received guidance from renowned painters such as Dai Shunzhi and Song Yichun. His flower and bird paintings have been guided for many years by Jin Keqiang, a descendant of the Kupai school.He has also received long-term guidance in calligraphy and seal engraving from the renowned calligrapher and seal engraver Li Yangmin.His works mostly focus on freehand flower and bird paintings and old Beijing hutong alleys. He has participated in many national exhibitions and has won multiple provincial (regional) awards for outstanding works.Representative works include the series of old Beijing hutong, which depict the atmosphere of old Beijing using realistic techniques. His works have a unique style, with exquisite painting techniques that witness the city's long history.
