Personal Profile

Zhang Wen (Wenge): A Communist Party member, senior engineer, contemporary famous painter and calligrapher, photographer, and national learning tutor, as well as a doctoral supervisor for the art of calligraphy and painting. Born in 1972 in Tongjiang, a revolutionary old area in Bashu, influenced by his father Zhang Zhili, he has been passionate about painting, calligraphy, martial arts, and photography since childhood. With more than ten years of military service, he has been awarded many times. Influenced by the culture of the military, he has broad artistic interests and is good at communication. For decades, he has never stopped creating, producing a large number of excellent works that sing the praises of the Party and the people. He has devoted himself to studying the artistic heritage of China and foreign countries, exploring the laws of art, with an innovative spirit and a grand goal of entering the international market, and is known as "the veteran who has painted around the world"; specially awarded the honor title of "Love Painter" for entrepreneurship, assistance to the disabled, and poverty alleviation; granted by the National Library the public welfare: "Love Calligrapher". In recent years, his works have been displayed in many public places across the country, such as museums, airports, and memorials. His work style, with its concise and bold brushwork and unique style, has continuously won high praise from many newspapers and famous people at home and abroad. Currently, he is employed by China Railway Construction Corporation, serving as a security officer in Beijing, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, vice secretary-general of the China State Guest Gift Review Committee, a doctoral supervisor for the national Chinese calligraphy and painting education popularization project group of Huang Binhu, a member of the DaLu Artists Association, an academician of the World Chinese Business Calligraphy and Painting Academy, vice president of the Beijing International Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Zilong Binhu, a member of the Red Flag飘飘 Art Institute of the Central Party School, a special editorial committee member of "Dreaming of the Chinese Nation, Role Models of the Times", a member of the Laozi Tongdao Association, a member of the Art Committee of the Chinese Painting Art Research Institute, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a review expert of the Chinese Folk Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a national learning tutor.
