Personal Profile

Wang Heyun, Yifan Daoist, Sanhe Daoist, original name Wang Heyun, Daoist name Wang Sanyun (Sanhe). Currently resides in Beijing. Since childhood, he has been fond of painting and calligraphy. He started learning oil painting and Chinese painting at the age of 16. He studied Chinese painting under Teacher Zhou Wenxia from the Jincheng Calligraphy and Painting Academy. After graduating from university in 2009, he became a Taoist monk at Zhenwu Temple in Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. Due to his love for painting and calligraphy, he has long been sketching outdoors in places such as Taixing Mountains and Wangwu Mountains during his stay at the temple. After becoming a Taoist, he exchanged and learned with many Taoist painters, focusing on Chinese landscape painting. He has studied ancient works and broadened his knowledge, developing his own unique understanding and emotions towards Chinese painting.
