 Su Shishu, born in March 1949 in Beijing, Manchu, is a contemporary Chinese calligrapher. On December 8, 2015, Su Shishu was elected chairman of the 7th China Calligraphers Association. Honorary member of the 10th session of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Currently, he also serves as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice-chairman of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Department of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, president of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage Publishing House, vice-president of the Central and State Organs Branch of the China Calligraphers Association, chairman of the Central and State Organs Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association, member of the China Calligraphers Association, vice-chairman of the China Cultural Relics Protection Foundation, chairman of the China Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, chairman of the China Calligraphy and Painting Collection Association, member of the Review Committee of the China Calligraphers Association, chairman of the Professional Committee of Calligraphy Education of the China Education Society, professor at the China Calligraphy Training Center, and senior consultant of China Artworks Network. His works participated in the "Glory Mission - Chinese News and Publishing Industry Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" which opened on August 23, 2011, at the Chinese Revolution Military Museum.
