Gao Guofeng

Gao Guofeng, Han Chinese, born in 1975 in Longshang, now resides in Beijing. He has been passionately devoted to painting and calligraphy since childhood, and has been engaged in the art of painting for more than twenty years. He studied at the Advanced Training Class for Traditional Flower-and-Bird Painting at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, under the guidance of renowned artists such as Huo Chunyang, Guo Shifu, and Song Weiyuan. He has also made friends and learned from many famous painters and calligraphers, gaining much benefit. His works have been selected for many national painting and calligraphy exhibitions and have won awards. His works and essays have been published in professional publications such as "Collecting", "China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper", "Art Research", and "Appreciation of Painting and Calligraphy". His style is ancient, natural, elegant, refined, simple, and elegant, with a strong traditional humanistic atmosphere. Some of his works are collected by major art museums, galleries, and numerous collecting institutions across the country. Currently, he is the Director of the Creation Studio of the Chinese National Painting Art Research Institute, a Senior Professional Artist, a member of the Gansu Provincial Artists' Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. He is also the Vice President of the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Academy. He is a full-time painter of the Huo Chunyang Traditional Culture Research Society at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University.
