Su Shi, a renowned calligrapher. He once served as a member of the Board of the China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Board of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Secretary-General of the Beijing Calligraphers Association. He is also the Vice President of the Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Research Society of the Jiusan Society. His calligraphy is naturally beautiful, fresh and elegant, and has its own unique style. His characters display a free-spirited and innocent charm within their neat and solemn structure, with a dignified and expansive composition, a vigorous and generous momentum, delicate and elegant strokes, a refined and graceful style, and a subtle strength that is both soft and strong, like flowing clouds and running water, which is refreshing and appealing to calligraphy and painting enthusiasts.
