Zhang Baosheng, born in March 1960, is currently a member of the China Arts and Crafts Society, a member of the China Art Photography Society, and a member of the Beijing Arts and Crafts Society.
Influenced by his father's calligraphy since childhood, he developed a fondness for calligraphy. During his middle school years, he gained an understanding and appreciation of calligraphy, and spent his spare time practicing writing, becoming addicted to it and continuously practicing and writing…… After starting work, he became completely absorbed in calligraphy, diligently copying the stele inscriptions of famous calligraphers from previous dynasties such as Wang Xizhi, Liu Gongquan, Mi Ti, and Yan Zhenqing.
He has participated in various calligraphy competitions held nationwide and has won awards multiple times. His works have been included in the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition, the Selection of Ink Works by Famous Chinese Calligraphers and Artists of the 21st Century, and the Treasure of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Passed Down Through Generations. Later, he sought guidance from the renowned contemporary calligrapher Liu Bingsen, which led to further improvement in his calligraphy.
