Ma Weidong

 
   Ma Weidong has been passionately devoted to the art of painting and calligraphy since childhood. For many years, he has diligently studied and researched painting techniques, and practiced basic skills. His works are collected and spread all over the country and many countries. In recent years, he has won the first prize in the "Hanjie Feng" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition by the People's Daily, the second prize and first prize in the 8th and 9th Calligraphy and Painting Exhibitions by the Pingfang Area Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy Association, the gold prize in the 2017 Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition by the Chinese Liberation Painting Academy. He was awarded the Excellent Award for Retired Painters in Beijing City, the Silver Prize in the Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Competition across the country, and the Second Prize in the Chinese National Culture Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition! He donated his paintings through charity sales to support the disabled and vulnerable groups! In 2017, he was honored with the title of "Outstanding Contemporary Chinese Calligrapher and Painter"!
