Personal Profile
Charitable calligrapher Zhang Zhenjiu, also known as Sanshan, is the master of Jizhi Studio. He is currently a vice president of the Xianghao Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Beijing, a member of the Chinese Association of Senior Calligraphers and Painters, a visiting professor at Henan University of Science and Technology, and has been awarded the title of Special-Class Excellent Teacher in Luoyang City multiple times.     Mr. Zhang Zhenjiu comes from a family of scholars. He received early family education and extensively studied ancient steles and inscriptions, drawing on the strengths of calligraphers throughout history. His calligraphy works are smooth in brushwork, rigorous in structure, and free in technique; his characters are strong and powerful, grand and dignified, with the momentum of lifting mountains and lifting cauldrons! His layout is reasonable, and the whole piece is completed in one breath, truly embodying 'form, spirit, and bone'. He inherits the style of Yan and Liu, carries the atmosphere of Mi and Huang, follows the bones of Chang Duo, and emulates the spirit of the Two Wangs. He is neither extravagant nor artificial. When viewed, he exudes the righteousness of orchids and osmanthus; when appreciated, he displays the backbone of plum blossoms! Truly, he has iron-like bones, producing a resonant sound like metal and stone. Viewing his work is like flowing clouds and running water, or a melody without strings! His style is graceful and magnificent, with a distant artistic conception, bringing a sense of relaxation and joy to the heart! It demonstrates his extremely high level of calligraphic artistry!
