Jiang Yanhai

Jiang Yanhai, also known as Yinping Layman, Master of Zhu Lian Hall, was born in Beijing in 1963. He is a National First-Class Artistic Professional, President of the Chinese Traditional Painting and Health Preservation Research Institute, and a member of the China National Painter's Association. In 1986, he graduated from the Beijing Academy of Painting Advanced Studies. He has studied under Wen Tong, Su Shi, Eight Greats, Xu Wei, Zheng Banqiao, and has learned from Mr. Liu Fulin, Dong Shouping, Liu Zhanjiang, Liu Wenxi, etc. He has also studied poetry with Mr. Li Kehan. His artistic style is simple, elegant, and ethereal. In 1995, he studied Tibetan Buddhism with Yanning Master at Daguangzong Temple on Wutai Mountain. In 1996, he took refuge in the Buddha at Lingguang Temple in Beijing, with Master Haiyuan as his preceptor, and received the dharma name Yinping. In 2002, he graduated from the Asian International Open University (Macau University), and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration. In 2015, he became a disciple of Zhong Zheng, the president of the Chinese Divine Fengshui Culture Research Institute. His paintings have participated in many major domestic exhibitions and are collected by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts at home and abroad.
