Personal Profile

Chen Yunming: Born in August 1938 in Xian County, Hebei, and has long lived in Beijing. He learned painting from Master Ren Zhi, a renowned master of freehand flower-and-bird painting. Later, he studied at the Beijing Academy of Painting, with mentors Wang Peidong and Shi Qi. He is skilled in painting bamboo and lotus, and has published two volumes of his art collections. Member of the Beijing Artists Association,member of the China Minority Art Promotion Association, member of the China National Classic Calligraphy and Painting Academy, research member of the China Senior Artists' Art Research Association, painter of Shi Qi Art Academy, painter of the Oriental White Horse Art Academy, and research member of the Beijing Chaoyang District Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, etc.
