Wang Guixiang, pen name Jiuju, the owner of Juxiang Bookstore. Hometown Shanxi, now resides in Beijing. Currently a national first-class calligrapher,member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association,Beijing Tongzhou Branch member of the Beijing Calligraphers Association, member of the World Cultural Industry Federation, member of the Chinese Folk Arts Association, researcher at the China General and Ministerial Painting Academy, member of the People's Artist Association, inheritor of the Shanxi Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Project "Guixiang Embroidery", and studied at the Beijing Shi Qi Painting Academy in 2016.
From childhood, she was inspired by her family and learned calligraphy and painting from her ancestors. In her spare time, she practiced brushwork, successively studying the Wei Stele, Tang regular script, the running and cursive scripts of the Two Wangs, as well as the styles of Zhang Xu, Huai Su and others. Later, she was guided by master teachers to continuously learn and improve on the basis of traditional brushwork. Her calligraphy is well-proportioned with both square and round structures, with rich ink variations and fluid strokes. Her cursive script flows smoothly, with seamless transitions and the ability to write on both sides. For decades, she has been diligent and striving, gradually moving from a hobby to professional creation. Through long-term practical life, she has been exploring and improving, spreading folk culture through appreciation and exchange, which has important historical and social value.
In 2015, her calligraphy work "Chinese Spirit" won the Outstanding Award in the Second National Online Calligraphy Competition.
In 2016, her calligraphy and painting works were published in the "China Post Album" and were awarded the title of "National Identity".
In 2017, the couplet "Heart for the Country's Belt and Road" was selected in the National Art Talent Exhibition hosted by the Cultural Department's Art Talent Center and was collected.
In September 2017, her work was selected in the "Most Beautiful Tongzhou" Calligraphy Exhibition and was included in the publication.
In February 2018, her work was selected in the 7th Taohu Cultural and Art Festival "Cinnabar Taohu" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and was included in the publication.
Her handcrafted cloth art has won many national gold awards, and in 2006, her work was included in the book "Chinese Craftsman Artists".
Her works have been collected by relevant institutions and people at home and abroad, and have been published in books and newspapers. In recent years, she has actively participated in public welfare activities such as慰问 and fundraising, making certain contributions.
