 Mr. Ren Weiguo, style name Wen Tong, pseudonym Shanting Ju Shi. Born in Zaozhuang, Shandong, he has studied successively at Qingdao National Painting University, Shijiazhuang Institute of Humanities and Arts, and the Academy of Arts, Tsinghua University. He has been a student of professors and scholars such as the famous landscape painter Hong Chao, the famous pomegranate painter Gu Chenghai, and the famous bird-and-flower painter Li Zhigang.  Currently a senior research student in art creation at the Academy of Arts, Tsinghua University, an invited artist of Sydney Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Network, vice director of the Art Department of the Cultural Industry Planning Network of the Ministry of Culture of China, member of the China-New Zealand Cultural and Art Promotion Association, chairman of Lianmo Xuanyou Tourism and Cultural Media Co., Ltd. in Hainan, honorary principal of Jining Guoxuetang, painter of the China Mountains and Rivers Painting Academy in Beijing, member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and has received titles such as "Hua Biao Artist", "Artist of Virtue and Art", and "Contemporary Chinese Realistic Artist".  For many years, he has traveled and created in the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland and art colleges, creating a large number of excellent calligraphy and painting works, and has participated in many national calligraphy and painting competitions and won awards. Mr. Ren is a versatile artist who is skilled in calligraphy, Chinese and Western painting, and seal carving, especially good at bird-and-flower painting, landscape painting, and fan surface painting. His works have been included in authoritative compendiums such as "Treasures of Ink Forest", "Centuries of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters", "Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters", "Chinese Calligraphers and Painters", "Morning Wind in the Ink Sea", etc., and his works are collected by national leaders, foreign friends, entrepreneurs, art institutions, and collectors.
