Lv Guangming, male. Style name: Jimo Zhai Zhu, a half-literatus. Born in May 1962, residing in Haidian District, Beijing City. Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy art, and began to learn the art at the age of eighteen. His teachers include renowned calligraphers Qi Gong, Wang Mingyuan, Qiao Chunqi, and Wang Baoguo.
Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association, special-聘 artist by the Ministry of Culture, president of the Jingcheng School of Painting and Calligraphy, member of the Beijing Xicheng District Artists Association. Skilled in regular script, clerical script, running and cursive script,瘦金 (Shoujin), and dynamic flying white style calligraphy. In 2012, after review by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, the price for his calligraphy works was set at 8,000 yuan per square chi.
Influenced by the flying white style calligraphy of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty, after years of practice, he has developed a unique thick ink flying white style calligraphy, with all his writings full of motion, adding a vibrant landscape to the Chinese calligraphy world.
