Zhang Ruhui, native of Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, art name Zhang Rufei, study room name Xiangyu Lu. Because of his right hand disability since childhood, he has been practicing calligraphy and painting with his left hand.Vice Chairman of the first calligraphers association of Lusheng District, Zhuzhou City. Usually resides in Beijing, is a member of China Television Calligraphy and Painting Academy, vice president of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Shuimodqing, and was invited as vice chairman of the Lusheng District Disabled Literature and Art Federation.His calligraphy was guided by master calligraphers such as Yan Jialong, Ouyang Zhongshi, and Li Duo. He is devoted to Yan style, studies Han dynasty stone inscriptions and two groups of carvings, integrates regular script with Wei and official script, and applies stone methods to scrolls, forming an ancient, innocent, naive, refined and spirited style. His pen portraits and ink landscape paintings are created with cursive brushwork, ink is clean and transparent, style is simple, lines are bold and free-spirited, the characters he draws are quick, accurate and sharp, lifelike, and his landscapes are ethereal and elegant. His works have been selected for the First Chinese Page Exhibition and the Second Inscription Calligraphy Exhibition. His works have been published in many national professional newspapers and magazines such as "China Calligraphy Guide", "Chinese Calligraphers and Painters", and "Hunan Contemporary Calligraphy Masters". In 2013, he won the China Post "Beautiful China" issued Zhang Ruhui's calligraphy and painting art stamp album; In 2015, he was given a seven-page special report by the People's Art Newspaper; That year, he was issued Zhang Ruhui's calligraphy and painting art commemorative stamp album for the "70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the Anti-Fascist War" by China Post, as a "National Business Card" gift to foreign guests participating in the commemorative activities. He is a state gift artist awarded by the Zhongnanhai State Gift Center, a calligraphy and painting figure on the CCTV channel "Yiyuan Xiangyue", and a guest on the 2017 Shuimodqing Calligraphy and Painting Spring Festival Gala of China Education Television. In 2017, he was recommended by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Intangible Cultural Heritage Foundation and the American Stamp Group as "Outstanding Chinese Artists on Stamps" and published the Zhang Ruhui Commemorative Collection Stamp Album.
