Wu Ping: Born in 1960 in Shucheng, Anhui, he has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood and now resides in Beijing.
A member of the Art Association of Lu'an City, Anhui Province.
Member of the Li Gonglin Calligraphy and Painting Association.
Member of the Shucheng County Senior Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Association.
His works have participated in many city and provincial calligraphy and painting exhibitions and have been selected for inclusion in albums. He regularly participates in the calligraphy and painting class activities at the Yishui Fangyuan Community in Sanjianfang, Chaoyang District. His works have been frequently selected for the Chaoyang District Calligraphy and Painting Joint Exhibition. In 2017, he participated in the Beijing 798 Art Lecture Hall activity and was awarded the certificate of "Folk Artist". In 2018, he participated in the China Art Talent Network activity and won the excellent award in the 5th National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In 2018, he participated in the 3rd Lanting Micro Exhibition of "Great China", and won the second prize. From 2016 to 2018, he often donated his calligraphy and painting works to charitable organizations and social groups. He also frequently gave away countless works free of charge to friends across the country who love calligraphy and painting. His works are deeply loved by a wide range of calligraphy and painting enthusiasts, and he has made his modest contribution to promoting traditional culture and spreading the art of calligraphy.
