He Yanhong

  He Yanhong, pen name He Genglong, style name Ziyun, pseudonym Qindezhai Master, Manchu, was born on August 28, 1960 in Xuanwu District, Beijing City. He is a national first-class art worker. From a young age, he has been influenced by family education and has loved calligraphy and painting. As a child, he self-taught and studied the works of the two Wangs, Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty's "slender gold" style, later studying under the famous calligrapher Mr. Wang Jian and the renowned painter Mr. Liu Qihua. He has now established his own unique style, standing out independently. His calligraphy and painting works pursue natural simplicity and scholarly atmosphere. His works often participate in national calligraphy and painting exhibitions and competitions, and have won many prizes.          Currently, he is the Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Zhonghua Forum Magazine, Secretary-General of the China Calligraphy and Painting Culture Association, member of the Board of Directors of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, senior art worker of the China National Painting Academy, Academician of the Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Beijing Guodian Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Beijing Renhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy, famous artist of the Moshengyuan Calligraphy and Painting Museum, special invited artist of the Sydney Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and has been rated as a Chinese Art Celebrity by the Ministry of Culture.
        In 2015, he won the third prize in the National Painting "Rising Sun in the East" at the National Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In 2016, he won the first prize in the "Military Spirit" at the National Calligraphy Exhibition, which is collected in Rongbaozhai. In May 2017, he was included in the postage stamp album "Never Forget Our Original Aspiration, Continue to Move Forward - Celebrating the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China", and four of his works were included in the Chinese Painting Selection. Among them, two calligraphy works and two painting works. In October, he won the first prize in the National Baishi Cup Competition. In November, he won the second prize in the First National Zhang Zeduan Cup Online Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In December, he was named the "2017 Chinese Pride Annual Artist". In January 2018, he won the first prize in the Belt and Road Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In February 2018, he was recommended as an outstanding People's Artist by the National Two Sessions. The People's Representative Daily conducted a special report. In March 2018, he was awarded the "Meritorious Artist of the 40th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up". In May, he was evaluated as the Leading Figure of Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art in the New Era and a postage stamp album was issued. In September, he was included in the "Chinese Contemporary Art Masters" published by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House. In October, he won the silver award in the 18th Lu Mountain Cup Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Competition nationwide.
