Yang Foxin: also known as Danshui Saren, a famous Chinese contemporary painter and calligrapher. National First-Class Artistic Professional, Chinese State Guest Gift Artist. A disciple of Zhang Daqian and Huang Binhu, he was trained by master painters such as Hu Ruosi, Huang Nuowei, and Li Kezan.Beijing Artists Association member, member of the China Collectors Association. Currently serves as Director of the Huaxia Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Huaxia Culture Promotion Association, Goodwill Charity Ambassador of the China Next Generation Education Foundation, Executive Vice President of the Beijing Huang Binhu Academy, Executive Vice President of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Zhonglian Qingfeng Art Academy, and Academician of the China International Cultural Exchange Promotion Association. He has successively received titles and honors such as "Artist with Virtue and Artistic Excellence", "Master of Calligraphy and Painting", and "Chinese Patriotic Artist". His works have repeatedly won gold awards in domestic and international art competitions and have been met by national leaders on multiple occasions. Representative works such as "The Landscape is Beautiful", "The Majestic Style of the Great Wall", "The Sun Rises in the East", "Good Fortune at the Head", and "The Purple Qi Comes from the East" have been presented as state gifts to foreign heads of state and are collected by national government agencies and individuals. Stars such as Jackie Chan, Liu Dehua, Chen Guangbiao, and Zhao Guangchang have collected his works. Yang Foxin comes from a prestigious family, especially inheriting Zhang Daqian's "Splashing Ink and Color" and Huang Binhu's unique techniques of "Five Strokes and Seven Inks, Rain-Soaked Wall Heads". After decades of repeated refinement, he has finally achieved great mastery. Viewing his paintings, there is not the slightest artificiality, but rather a natural and complete realm. Each mountain, each stone, each grass, and each tree has its own unique interest. With calligraphy as the basis and brushwork as the structure, all inks converge without a trace, leaving only the thick mountains and rivers, and the lush plants, perfectly demonstrating the style of a master and the essence of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.
In December 8, 2003, the calligraphy work "Lanting Xu" was included in the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters Encyclopedia.
In 2004, the work "The Sun Rises in the East" was collected by the Diaoyutai State Guest House.
In 2006, the work "Good Fortune for Thousands of Years" was presented as a state gift to the Romanian Embassy and was permanently collected. On August 1, 2009, the work "The Majestic Style of the Great Wall" was collected by the Three Armies Honor Guard of the People's Liberation Army of China. On July 1, 2011, he was awarded the title of "Artist with Virtue and Artistic Excellence" during the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On October 6, 2013, the work "The Landscape is Beautiful" was collected by the Great Hall of the People. On March 10, 2019, the work "The Purple Qi Comes from the East" was permanently collected by the UK "Belt and Road" Association.
