He has loved Qi Baishi's painting and calligraphy since childhood, and has received guidance from famous painters Wang Jingzhi, Wang Qi, Wang Zihe, a member of the China Artists Association, and Zong Hua, among others. Later, he became a disciple of Zhang Shipeng, a student of Xu Linlu, and is the fourth-generation inheritor of Qi Baishi.In the practice of painting and calligraphy creation, he always remembers the teachings of his master ancestor Qi Baishi, "Those who learn from me live, those who imitate me die," Master Xu Linlu's "Enter through the door, break out through the door," and his teacher Zhang Shipeng's "It's easy to pray to the Buddha, but hard to enter the Buddhist door." He strives to "cultivate Zen and seek enlightenment, develop and innovate," pursuing an artistic realm where poetry is in painting and painting is in poetry. On the basis of inheriting traditional painting and calligraphy skills, he highlights his own personality, paints what he sees, thinks, feels, and imagines, gradually forming a rural series with fish, shrimp, crabs, cats, chickens, squirrels, grapes, etc., as the main subjects. His works have distinct themes, bright colors, beautiful meanings, and a unique artistic style.
