Personal Profile

A member of the Communist Party of China, with a bachelor's degree. Native of Jilin Changchun, registered residence in Beijing. Standing member of the Chinese Cultural Arts Research Association, member of the China Youth Calligraphers and Painters Association, and member of the Beijing Painting Association. Research and creation member of Shao Yong Painting and Calligraphy Academy, lecturer at Gantang Academy. Since childhood, he has been intelligent, self-reliant, diligent, and versatile, especially in literature and art, where he has published literary works such as poetry, essays, novels, and fables. He has diligently studied and imitated the masterpieces of famous painters such as Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, and Wang Xue Tao, drawing on the strengths of many masters, and is now a disciple of Li Kuchan. He has been dedicated to studying Chinese painting, especially flowers, birds, landscapes, and figures. He has participated in various national and provincial level calligraphy and painting competitions and won awards. In 2016, his works "Purity", "Bringing Spring" and "Peaceful National Treasure" were collected by international friends and Hong Kong businessmen at the Hong Kong art exhibition. That same year, he won the third prize in the fourth China Environmental Art Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In the fourth Wang Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2017, he won the Trend Award. At the same time, 12 of his works were printed into a limited edition stamp album titled "The Belt and Road Dream" and he was rated as one of the top 100 people among the "Top 500 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters". In the first People's Artist Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2018, he won the first prize and received the People's Artist medal. In October of the same year, he again won the second prize in the second National Excellent Calligraphy and Painting Competition. And so on. He is employed as the Art Director of the Sotheby's Cultural Arts Development Center, and is a signed calligrapher and painter on several websites including China Calligraphy and Painting Information Network and Cangshou Tianxia.
