Personal Profile
Wang Zhixinwas born in Beijing in 1967. A founding member of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Volunteers; member of the Chinese Painting Association and the Calligraphers Association; winner of the National Excellent News Award, the Hebei Provincial Excellent News Award, a director of the Honghua Art Society of the China Democratic建国会, a senior researcher at the Jingzhang Winter Olympic Research Center, chairman of the Committee of Chinese Traditional Culture of the Beijing Reform and Development Research Association, and a member of the Beijing Zhongshan Calligraphy and Painting Society.
In the early 1990s, he began to study painting with Mr. Zhang Zhengyong (who was admitted as an official disciple of Zhang Daqian in 1946). In the past 20 years, he has received guidance and teaching from Master Zhang Zhengyong. Later, he became a disciple of the renowned painter Wang Xilin (Wang Xilin was a disciple of the renowned painters Ma Jin and Wang He, who was a disciple of Wu Changshuo).
He has participated in nearly 100 domestic and international exhibitions and activities. His works are collected by the Zambian Embassy, football legend Maradona, President of the Volleyball Federation Wei Jizhong, and experts such as Zhou Chaofan.
