         △ Ji Gengsen, renowned scholar, professor, famous painter and calligrapher, inventor. He has profound understanding and research on traditional Chinese culture, classical literature, and Guoxue. In traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting, Mr. Ji is especially known for his running and cursive script calligraphy and bamboo paintings. His painting "Jing Jie Gao Feng" (Strong Bamboo, Noble Wind), featuring green bamboo, was presented as a national gift by Chinese state leaders during foreign visits to foreign heads of state. The work "Qing Feng Jing Jie" (Clear Wind, Strong Bamboo) is collected by the Great Hall of the People and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. In 2018, he was awarded the title of "Master of National Gift Art" by the National Gift Center at Zhongnanhai. His calligraphy works won the Gold Award in the "National Painting and Calligraphy Competition Commemorating the 115th Anniversary of Chairman Mao’s Birth." Many of his works have been collected by friends from overseas and Chinese state leaders. Currently, he serves as a guest professor at multiple art colleges nationwide. He has received titles such as "Integrity Mentor of Chinese Urban Universities," "Outstanding Chinese Calligrapher and Painter," "风云人物 of Chinese Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy," and "Most Responsible Artist of China."
