 Jiang Bei, female, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in Beijing in 1960. She is a renowned female calligrapher and scholar, holding a master's degree in Calligraphy Education from Capital Normal University. She is a member of the China Calligraphers Association, the Beijing Calligraphers Association, and the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association. Currently, she works at the Art Teaching Section of the Peking University Health Science Center.  Ms. Jiang Bei studied under the esteemed calligraphy master Mr.欧阳 Zhongshi (Ouyang Zhongshi), one of the few female graduates from the first official calligraphy program in China (known as the "first cohort of the Chinese calligraphy academy," recognized as the first formal academic degree in calligraphy). She is particularly skilled in regular script (kaishu) and running script (xingshu). Her calligraphy works have been collected by numerous officials, military leaders, and well-known individuals both domestically and internationally, including entrepreneurs. Ms. Jiang Bei has long been engaged in teaching and theoretical research on Chinese calligraphy. She teaches calligraphy to undergraduate students and international students at Peking University. Over the years, she has instructed nearly four thousand Chinese and foreign students, making significant contributions to popularizing Chinese calligraphy art. She participated in the compilation of national elementary school Chinese language textbooks and is considered an expert in children’s calligraphy education and child psychology. For many years, she has been invited to teach at institutions such as the Beijing Municipal Committee, Beijing Normal University, Xicheng Elderly University in Beijing, military academies, and the Transportation Department Elderly University. She possesses extensive experience in teaching calligraphy to learners of different levels and age groups. Known for her ability to both write and teach effectively, she is deeply loved by her students. Since the early 1980s, she has published multiple calligraphy essays and short notes while working at her institution.
