Ji Jianhua
Personal Profile
Ji Jianhua, a native of Beijing, is a professional painter and art educator, and the director of the Chinese National Learning Confucian Painting and Calligraphy Institute. His works have been exhibited in regions such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as in countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Finland, and Singapore, and are collected by the Japanese Imperial Family, the British Royal Family, Italy, the United States, and Hong Kong collectors. His artworks have also been used as national gifts in diplomatic exchanges.
In recent years, Mr. Ji, now in his middle age, has actively devoted himself to education, hoping to cultivate more outstanding artistic talents through his own path in painting and rich experience. Mr. Ji's teaching is rigorous, entirely different from the prevailing art teaching methods in society today. He requires students to build a solid foundation in fine arts, develop a keen sense of color, and master form and color skills to the professional standards of a prestigious art academy. He hopes that students will achieve their first step in an artistic career by pursuing serious study and professional painting skills, aiming to be admitted to top universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University for their fine arts programs.
