Personal Profile

Shi Libing, male, National First-Class Artist (Calligraphy), poet, and writer. Currently serves as Honorary Chairman of the China Calligraphy Artists Association, Art Consultant at Beijing Dongfang Art天地 (Eastern Art天地), and Art Director at Sotheby's Cultural Development Center. In 2017 and 2018, he ranked first nationwide in the online voting for Chinese calligraphy and painting artists' brand influence; in 2019, he won first prize in the second "Huacui Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. His works are regarded as珍品 (treasures) by domestic and international political figures and numerous calligraphy enthusiasts, and he is hailed as one of the most capable and promising calligraphers in today's Chinese calligraphy scene.
