Liang Dongmei, styled Liangzhi, is a professional calligrapher and painter currently residing in Beijing. In 1985, she studied at the Chinese Painting Class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. She has long researched ancient figure line drawing, serving as the Director of the Beijing Liao Jingwen Chinese Painting Research Institute and holding the title of National First-Class Artistic Professional. In 2010, she held an exhibition on ancient Chinese figure line drawing. Her works have repeatedly been selected for national art exhibitions and have won awards, being collected by religious institutions and temples both domestically and internationally. In 2019, she was rated by the China Cultural Arts Evaluation Center as "China's Most Collectible Artist," and in 2020, she was included in the "Chinese Influential Figures Database." She has published books titled *Analysis of Ancient Chinese Figure Line Drawing* and *Line Drawing Techniques in Chinese Figure Painting*. In 2009, she was awarded the title of "National Gift Artist" by the state.
       In 1988, she participated in the Traditional Landscape Painting Research Class at the China Academy of Art led by Lu Yanhou, and in 1992, she joined the Landscape Painting Research Class at the Beijing Academy of Art led by Bai Xueshi. Her ink landscape series, "Miao Ethnic Village Customs," won an award in the 2008 Olympic-themed "Beautiful China Landscape Painting Exhibition." Ms. Liang’s landscape paintings are imbued with classical techniques yet express fresh ideas, appearing fresh and refined. Her works have been collected by the National Museum and Chinese embassies abroad.
