Xuan Ming, contemporary artist, founder of Cryptism art, member of the New Knights International Art Alliance. Biography: Xuan Ming found art during times of spiritual oppression. He once established the Apm mathematical theorem and也曾 wandered without a penny. In 2016, his autobiographical literary work "Drift • Decode: A Painter’s Madness, Sexuality, Art, and Philosophy" was published, recounting his story, oil paintings, poems, and philosophy. To date, he has held various solo exhibitions and art events in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Europe. Xuan Ming’s works involve elements such as life, philosophy, sexuality, and religion, with particular emphasis on mathematics. His paintings always reveal mathematical and cryptographic characteristics; within these works, he incorporates his self-created Apm theorem—every symbol, geometric composition, even the placement or color choices of objects and lines form a mathematical code, concealing some forgotten information. Like a treasure map, it tells a hidden story. The secret systems he created carry significant symbolic meaning, leading him after two years of exploration and summarization to propose the "Cryptism Manifesto." His artworks address themes including mathematics, philosophy, physics, religion, and sexuality—all attempting, in their own ways—logic, speculation, exploration, faith, and feeling—to explain the mysteries of life and the universe in pursuit of possible truth.
