Qu Shengnan known as the "Immortal of Peonies", currently resides in Beijing Director of the Beijing Office of the Chinese Dongfeng Fine Arts Association, Vice President of the Jilin Rural Painting Association, member of the Jilin Artists Association. National First-Class Fine Artist, International Gift Artiste. Influential Young Artist in China, Deputy Director of the Beijing Yiyuan Painting Institute, graduated from Tonghua Normal University, later studied at the Tsinghua University Academy of Art and Design Advanced Research Class, under the guidance of Zhuang Zhishen and Ye Zemin. Through continuous learning and exploration, she has found her passion and now focuses on ink-and-wash peonies, studying the techniques of Wang Xue Tao and inheriting the spirit of Wu Changshuo, forming a style characterized by vivid colors, lively gracefulness, and noble elegance. Only the peony truly possesses the beauty of a nation; when it blooms, it stirs the capital city! Her works have frequently participated in national touring exhibitions and are deeply loved and collected by collectors and the general public.
