Ren Baoping, male, born in 1970, alias Mogfeng Tangzhu and Hunshandake Person. He has loved calligraphy since childhood, initially studying Tang dynasty regular script and Wang Xizhi’s running script. Diligent and eager to learn, he practiced tirelessly. Later, he studied Qin, Han, Wei, and Jin styles, absorbed the characteristics of Ming and Qing calligraphy, and is especially skilled in small regular script.
Ren Baoping has been studying calligraphy for over thirty years, successively learning from renowned masters such as Shi Kai, Hu Kangmei, Wo Xinghua, and Zhang Yuxiang. He also studied under teachers Ma Dedian and Yao Feng, and attended the Calligraphy Master Mentor Program at Beijing University.
His works have been selected for and exhibited in various competitions, and are widely circulated in countries including Japan, South Korea, Germany, and Russia, with many pieces collected by museums and art galleries.
