Zhang Yingchang, styled Pengyue, pseudonym Guanxuetang Zhu Ren. Born in 1968 at the foot of Mount Taibai, the main peak of the Qinling Mountains and the hometown of bronzes in Meixian County. A member of the Communist Party of China. Inspired by the spiritual essence of Mount Taibai and the cultural heritage of the Zhou and Qin dynasties since childhood, he developed a deep passion for Chinese painting and calligraphy, never ceasing to practice with brush and ink. He sought out virtuous mentors in his hometown and learned diligently. Later, he self-studied for several years through the correspondence program at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. During farming off-seasons, he constantly carried famous ancient calligraphy scrolls, repeatedly contemplating and imitating them. His paintings and calligraphy reflect a simple and tranquil style, adhering to traditional methods and the teachings of sages. To pursue higher breakthroughs, he has also explored folk customs and religious iconography. Through years of hard work and exploration, he has gradually established his own unique artistic style. Currently, he is a specially appointed artist at the China Publicity and Culture International Art Institute and an academician of the Baoji Branch of the China National Painting Academy.
