Personal Profile

Su Shaojun, pen name Shaojun, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1957 in Chongqing, holds a bachelor's degree, has long resided in Beijing and Guangzhou. Currently serves as Deputy Director of the Dongting Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. He has loved calligraphy art since childhood. During his service in the military and work in civilian positions, he consistently used his spare time to study and practice calligraphy, seal carving, paper cutting, and painting mounting with a spirit of self-entertainment and personal interest. Over decades, he has exchanged ideas and provided services to numerous friends, colleagues, art enthusiasts, and masters. Many of his works have been collected and cherished by others.
