Lu Xuhong, female, born in 1954, began studying calligraphy in 1991, and once studied under provincial-level calligraphers Guo Shanping and Zhang Yimin. She started participating in competitions from 1992 and won awards; her works have been collected in Japan.

In 2008, she studied calligraphy and painting for two and a half months at the first high-level research class of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University in Beijing, receiving guidance from masters such as Lu Zhongnan, Zhang Xuguang, Zhang Rongqing, Mei Mosheng, Huo Chunyang, Ding Xuefeng, and Wang Peidong.

In 2009, she studied calligraphy and painting at the Beijing Daxing Retirees University in Beijing for nearly seven years.
Since 2014, she has been working as a teacher of calligraphy and painting for teenagers in Beijing.
She has obtained the first batch of calligraphy external teacher qualification certificates issued by Beijing after study, training, and examination.
In August 2018, she held a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting with two other artists in Beijing Daxing.

Currently:
Member of the Beijing Hushé Painting Association;
Director of External Relations of the Beijing Huayun Calligraphy and Painting Society;
Secretary-General of the Belt and Road National Treasures Calligraphy and Painting Institute;
Currently: continues to engage in teaching calligraphy and painting, and continues learning and creating calligraphy and painting.
