Liu Shiyu, also known as Dayu. Owner of Yixuan Tang, founder of Huanmo Landscape Painting! Currently resides in Beijing. Vice Chairman of the Chinese Northern Landscape Painting Association, member of the Chinese Artists and Calligraphers Association, Senior Artistic Professional, Council Member of the Hong Kong Artists Federation, National Gift Artist, Vice Chairman of the China Young and Middle-Aged Art Association, Council Member of the Jilin Provincial Fine Arts Association, Council Member of Beijing Huizhong Painting Academy, Director of Beijing Yi Yuan Art Museum, graduated from the Advanced Study Class at Tsinghua University School of Art, and Assistant Instructor in the Landscape Painting Advanced Study Class at the Department of Chinese Painting, Renmin University of China. Disciple of Li Xiaoke, studied under Professor Zhuang Zhishen and Professor He Rengao. Born into an artistic family. Studied classical techniques, Zhang Daqian, Huang Binhong. After years of copying, sketching from life, and diligent research, he gradually developed a personal style characterized by lofty conception and lush ink washes in his "Huanmo" landscape paintings, with innovative compositions.
