Xu Huiqin
Personal Profile
Xu Huiqin was born in Tongzhou, Beijing, and graduated from the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal College. She studied under the renowned artists Wang Qingjiang and Lu Huaihong, a visiting professor at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and one of the Ten Great Masters of Landscape Painting. Since childhood, she has loved painting. During her middle school and college years, she served as the propaganda minister of the student union and secretary of the Youth League branch, responsible for artistic publicity work. In 1972, she participated in a training program for secondary school art teachers at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Later, she worked as an art teacher at Caosi Middle School and Tongzhou No. 3 Middle School. For many years, she has independently studied flower-and-bird painting techniques from various masters. She once learned traditional Chinese painting from Sun Lisha, the current Secretary-General of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, who is also the head of Zhenmo Hall. She also studied freehand figure painting with Zhang Guotu, and now she is a disciple of the renowned painters Wang Qingjiang and Lu Huaihong.
Currently, she is a painter at the National Gift Art Institute, an Executive Council Member of the Xinhua Touch Media National Gift Online Art Association, Vice President of Tianci Moyuan Art Institute, a member of the Tongzhou Art Research Society, a member of CCTV China Art Collection Network, a member of Chaoyang Farmers' Art Association, an artist at the Jin-Jing-Shang Art Institute, a council member of Ailai Art Institute, and a council member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Art Promotion Association and a member of the China Enterprise Art Union.China Calligraphy and Painting Art Promotion Association Council Member, China Enterprise Art Union Member。
