Personal Profile
Born on September 30, 1950, from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, with a university education, a member of the Communist Party of China, and a retired national civil servant.
Wu Wenteng is a senior calligraphy teacher certified by the Ministry of Culture of China, an appointed councilor of the China People's Academy of Arts, and a member of the National Association of Elderly Calligraphers and Painters. He specializes in regular script and clerical script calligraphy and has participated in numerous calligraphy competitions, winning various awards. In 2012, he received the Silver Award in the CCTV Calligraphy Channel’s National Spring Festival Calligraphy Exhibition. His calligraphy works have been collected by many international and domestic institutions and individuals, including the Malaysian Chinese Business Association, the Nanchang City Museum of Jiangxi Province, and the Ouyang Xiu Memorial Hall. Currently, he is employed as a calligraphy teacher at Huizhou Chongle Art Training Center.
