Personal Profile

Xiong Yan, from Beijing, born in 1958. She has loved painting since childhood and developed a strong interest in it.
In recent years, she has widely explored fields such as flower-and-bird painting and landscape painting. Later, she systematically studied山水 (landscape) and colored flower-and-bird painting under the guidance of renowned painter Wang Kun, gaining deeper insights into the essence of art and making significant progress in her painting techniques.
Currently, she is a member of the Chinese Women Painters Association and the China Contemporary New Ink Art Research Institute. Her works have won an outstanding award at the Haidian Arts Festival.
In 2018, her works were exhibited at the Haihe Cup Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
In 2019, she participated in the National Day 70th Anniversary Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
