Duan Shufang
Personal Profile
Duan Shufang, born in 1953, is from Beijing.
She is currently a member of the Chinese Women Artists Association and the Research Institute of the Chinese Contemporary New Ink Painting Academy, and a member of the Beijing Lake Society.
Since childhood, she has been passionate about painting. Driven by her love for art, she studied traditional Chinese ink painting under Teacher Liang Yansheng, focusing on meticulous flower-and-bird and landscape paintings. Later, she became a disciple of Teacher Wang Kun, further deepening her skills through years of study and achieving significant progress in her artistic development. Her works have participated in the "Fashionable Classics 20th Anniversary Calligraphy and Painting Masters Invitation Exhibition and Artwork Auction," held at the Yanhuang Art Museum. Her artworks were also featured in the Datang Sishui 2020 Art Auction, with successful sales.
In 2020, several of her works were published in the Huaxia Art Newspaper.Additionally, her works were exhibited at the "Fashionable Classics 21st Anniversary Master Invitation Exhibition" at the National Academy of Painting, receiving positive feedback and an honorary certificate. Many of her classic works have been frequently published in newspapers and magazines.
