Personal Profile
     Zhang Jing'an was born in Beijing in 1956. He is currently a Cultural Envoy of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Council, a member of the Chinese Academy of Arts, and a National First-Class Artist. Beijing Jinzhengde Art Institute is his position as Executive Vice President and Secretary-General. Vice Chairman of the Art Committee of Zhonglian Qingfeng. Executive Director of the Dongfang Baima Art Institute. Executive Director of the Beijing Xinping Art Institute. Member of the Beijing Branch of the China Artists Association. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting at the Art School of Beijing Experimental University (Beijing Educational Institute). Studied at the Advanced Training Class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the China National Academy of Painting. Previously taught at Beijing Economic Management Cadre College and Civil Aviation Management Cadre College of China. His works have participated in numerous domestic and international art exhibitions and have been featured in various newspapers, magazines, and art collections. In 2001, his ink painting "Autumn Landscape" was presented by the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a state gift to the former Governor-General of New Zealand during his visit. In 2002, his ink paintings "Red Autumn under Snow" and "Snow Forecasting Abundance" were presented by the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as state gifts to the former President and Foreign Minister of South Korea. In 2012, the work "Majestic Great Wall" was included in "World Talents". In 2008, he painted a large-scale artwork for the Beijing Olympics titled "All Mountains Red" (Kuache Grand Canyon, Xinjiang). In 2013, he painted a large-scale artwork titled "Majestic Great Wall" for the Beijing Armed Police Command College. In 2014, he painted a large-scale artwork titled "The Great Wall for Ten Thousand Li" for the Armed Police Forces College. In 2015, his work "One Night Rain in the Mountain" won the Gold Award at the 7th National Great Wall Cup Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. The work "Morning Melody" won the Special Gold Award at the National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China. In 2016, the work "Sunrise in the East" participated in the "China Dream - Great Wall Fu Hong Jing Nordic Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" and was collected by the Swedish East Asian Museum. In 2018, he was awarded the title of "Cultural Envoy of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Council".
