Zhou Shutian
Personal Profile
Zhou Shutian, lecturer at the School of Cultural Creation and Innovation, Hangzhou Normal University.
Master's degree (graduated in 2010 from the Comprehensive Painting Program, Department of Art History, China Academy of Art); currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Art Appraisal and Collection at the China Academy of Art, member of the Zhejiang Provincial Artists Association. Main teaching courses: Plane Modeling, Line Drawing Art, Comprehensive Expression; research direction: Contemporary Painting Art.
Zhou Shutian's artworks have been selected for numerous exhibitions and published in various professional journals. He has guided students to win awards in multiple provincial art and design competitions.
Participated in the completion of the mural project "The Preaching of Master Zhixi" in the Dharma Hall of Fajixiang Temple in Shangtianzhu, Hangzhou; the key project on artistic paper development funded by the Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang Province; and research projects such as "Wall Painting Protection and Craft Inheritance in Humid Southern Regions," sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau.
His works have been published in several journals including Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Publishing House, Yancai Art Magazine, and Literary Life Magazine. Works such as "Re-reading Huang Binhong," "Mountain Traces," and "Memories of Landscapes" are collected by art enthusiasts. Representative works include "Guanyin," "Scholar Portrait," "Visiting Friends," "Viewing Water," "All贤 Gathered," and "Pine Wind Welcoming Scholars."
