Personal Profile

Zhang Guangliang,professional lacquer worker and part-time calligraphy instructor.Born in February 1968, he was educated at home from an early age, influenced by his ancestors, learned the Liu-style calligraphy, and is especially skilled in running and cursive scripts. He once enlisted in the military. In July 1987, he won an Honorable Mention in the 2nd National "Wenming Cup" Calligraphy Competition and joined the Shanghai Chinese Calligraphers Association. In June 1994, his work was included in the book "Aerospace Blue Sky Ink Art Collection"; in May 1988, his poetry was selected for the book "Love Language." He has participated in various local calligraphy competitions and received awards. Currently, he is a member of the Jinan Calligraphers Association.Registered Teacher of Standardized Character Writing by the Chinese Penmanship Association (available for verification on official website)Committee Member of the Standardized Writing Professional Committee, China Association of Language and Newspaper Media In December 2020, he performed excellently in the first primary and secondary school teacher calligraphy and painting competition organized by the China Artists Association, winning the入围奖 (Entry Award) in the penmanship category.
