He has loved calligraphy since childhood. To highlight the unique charm of calligraphy, he sought guidance from renowned masters to absorb their essence, achieving profound connotations in his works—so that when one hears the work, they understand its meaning, and its form emerges naturally. He has absorbed the essence of great calligraphers throughout history and has repeatedly won gold and silver awards in calligraphy competitions. In the national "Hanmo Cup" Art Competition, he won a gold award. His calligraphy work received an Honorable Mention in the "3rd International Calligraphy Competition of China" in 2016 and was awarded the title of "International Calligraphy Artist of China."

Materials related to Mr. Fan Haichao’s works and portraits have been included in the theme publication "China Post Album" celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. This album features stamps, postal items, and albums known as the "national calling cards," and he was awarded the title of "Master of Ink and Color Illuminating China."
