Chen Yuqiu, female, pen name Kaizheng, owner of Hong Mo Xuan, born in Kaifeng City in 1990, professional painter, national first-class art expert, and contracted artist of the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.Art consultant of Putuo Mountain Art Institute, Art Consultant of Wesley Art College in Vancouver, Canada, member of the China Star Artists' Association of Painting and Calligraphy, and invited lecturer of Chinese painting at Zhengzhou University.
Yuqiuwas nurtured by family education from an early age, deeply fond of calligraphy. At the age of learning, she devoted herself to ink and brushwork,studying under the renowned Kaifeng calligrapher Mr. Niu Guangpu,initially learning Yan and Liu styles to establish bone structure, then studying Wei stele inscriptions for broader form, followed by running and cursive scripts for fluid spirit, and finally studying clerical and seal scripts to trace origins and achieve an ancient simplicity. Because of her love for calligraphy, she became immersed in seal carving, studying under the master of seal carving and calligraphy, Mr. Sang Fan. Through continuous learning, she gradually developed her own unique seal carving style.
Later, guided by Mr. Xu Yuqing, chairman of the Kaifeng Artists Association, she began studying Chinese painting, starting with copying the "Jieziyuan Huapu," then painting figures and landscapes. Due to her solid foundation in calligraphy, her Chinese paintings are clean, refined, and uniquely distinctive.
