Personal Profile
Fang Jiliang, male, born in 1957. In the early 1980s, he studied under the renowned painter Guo Chuanzhang. In the late 1980s, he went to Japan and held several solo exhibitions. Upon returning to China, he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1993.
In 2015, he participated in the "Light of China" National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and won an award.
In March 2016, he participated in the "Brush and Ink Heritage" Chinese Painting Triennial Exhibition jointly organized by the China Collectors Association, the International Association for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exchange, and the Qi Baishi Art Research Society, successfully held at the Friendship Art Museum in Beijing. His work was collected by the China Collectors Association.
In September 2016, he held a solo exhibition successfully organized by Dongfang Art天地 (Eastern Art天地), and simultaneously participated in the online voting for "Top Ten Outstanding Landscape Painters of the Contemporary Era," jointly organized by the Contemporary Cultural Research Institute, Nanjing Jinling Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Hanmo Masters Editorial Department, ranking second.
In 2017, his artwork was carried aboard the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft.
Currently, he serves as a council member of the International Association for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exchange, a council member of the Qi Baishi Art Research Society, and is a professional painter.
