Hou Runjie

 Hou Runjie, born in 1988, styled Jiucheng, is a member of the Calligraphy Association of Central Government Agencies and a member of the China Financial Calligraphy Association. He is currently employed by a state-owned bank, engaged in system management. Since childhood, he has been passionate about and dedicated to the study of calligraphy, seeking guidance from contemporary calligraphy masters such as Fan Yingzi, Zhang Shoutao, and Niu Baoyi. His primary focus is on regular script, clerical script, and running script, with running script being his strongest style. He practices calligraphy daily with unwavering persistence, full concentration, and humble learning, adhering to this discipline for years without seeking shortcuts or secret techniques, accumulating steadily with the belief that success will come naturally with time. His works have been repeatedly exhibited and awarded in calligraphy exhibitions organized by central government agencies and the financial industry, and his calligraphy has been frequently used in external promotional materials of his workplace, earning widespread acclaim.
