Pei Yanhong, male, from Qinghe, Hebei Province, is a renowned contemporary calligrapher. He currently serves as a council member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, a national treasure-level artist, a national gift artist, vice president of the China Collectors Association, a state-level first-class calligrapher, a member of the China Mao-style Calligraphy Association, and a member of the Hebei Artists Association.
Artistic Journey
Born in the land of Yan and Zhao, Pei Yanhong has loved Mao-style calligraphy since childhood. For decades, he has diligently studied and practiced without pause, developing his unique style of painting and calligraphy with profound technical foundation. His calligraphy excels in running script and Mao-style calligraphy, while also incorporating seal and clerical scripts. His compositions are rigorous, brushwork free and expressive, naturally harmonious. His works have been exhibited numerous times domestically and internationally, earning unanimous praise from experts in the field and widespread recognition and collection by collectors. His work's valuation is 8,000 RMB per square foot.

"Heaven Rewards Diligence": A signature piece, continuously selected for his personal exhibitions for three years, and won an award at the National Calligraphy Exhibition in 2016;
"Good Fortune Arrives": Collected in 2020 by Liu Jingze, President of Hebei Normal University;
"Virtue Bears All Things": Won the "Second Prize" at the Hebei Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2021;

In 2019, Pei Yanhong was awarded the title "Art Changes Life · Cultural Merit Figure";
In 2015, won the First Prize at the National Famous Artists Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 122nd Anniversary of Chairman Mao's Birth;
In 2016, won the First Prize at the First Hanmo Zhonghua Hebei Calligraphy and Painting Competition;
"Qinyuan Chun · Snow": A museum-grade masterpiece, gifted as a national gift to the Canadian delegation visiting China in 2015, selected among national gift artist works, and simultaneously collected and exhibited at the China Art Museum. In the same August, it was collected by renowned entrepreneur Li Ka-shing for 350,000 RMB.
