Zhang Yongchang (calligrapher and painter)

Zhang Yongchang, born in 1959 in Beijing, is a professor at the China Landscape Painting Research Institute and a professional painter at the China Fine Arts Calligraphy Academy [1] , professor at the Beijing Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts, senior researcher at the Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of the China Planning Academy, vice secretary-general of the Changping District Writers and Artists Association in Beijing, art consultant for the China Nationalities Newspaper, special painter for the American Chinese-language World Journal, and special painter for Hong Kong's World Artists. With over thirty years of dedicated study in calligraphy and painting, he has devoted himself to scholarly pursuits and excels in calligraphy, painting, and seal carving, with mastery in landscape, flower-and-bird, and figure painting.
