Wu Kaili, also known as Hancao, Huizhou Zuike, and the master of Shuangjun Building, is from She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. He was initially inspired in painting and calligraphy by Mr. Wu Hanxi. In 1990, he entered the Huangshan Painting and Calligraphy Academy in Anhui Province to study Chinese landscape painting. He studied under renowned masters such as Zhang Jianzhong, Guo Gongda, and Liang Huazhong, and his art skills improved significantly. His works "Home in the Yellow Leaf Village of Jiangnan" and "Xin'an Mountains and Waters Beauty" were given as gifts to Thai and Singaporean dignitaries by financial departments in Suzhou and textile industries in Xuzhou. In 1998, Zhejiang TV once introduced him and his works. In recent years, many of his works have been exhibited in national exhibitions and published in media, receiving good reviews from peers and experts. In 2010, he was included in "The Great China Art Integration of Cross-Strait", in 2011 he was included in "Collection of Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers of Anhui Province", in 2012 he was selected in the first "Huaxia Star" Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Talent Selection hosted by China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, in 2013 he was selected in the Youth Art Exhibition of Anhui Province, and in 2018 he was invited to create a large mural for the Shougang Group in Beijing. He is currently a member of the Anhui Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Huangshan City Artists Association, a specially appointed painter of the Huizhou Painting and Calligraphy Academy, an academician of the Guxuan Huiwu Academy, and a painting and calligraphy restorer.
